As National Chamber of Commerce , ICC’s Priority & Contribution to “Skill India Mission” By Causing Paradigm Shift in Skill Landscaping (Linked With Modern Industry) Towards Conversion of Poor Youth Into Skilled Human Capital

Hon’ble Prime Minister has launched ‘Skilling India’ as a multi-skill development programme on mission mode for job creation and entrepreneurship for all socio-economic classes. Keeping this vision in mind, the Government of India has established a Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, to act as a nodal point for all initiatives on skill development in India by the various ministries/departments and state skill missions.
Key Players :
Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Ministry of Finance, National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), National Skill Development Agency (NSDA) and State Skill Missions.
ICC’s Vision : TRANSFORMULA
While recognizing the fundamentals of the problem vis-à-vis ways of solution towards the transformation roadmap and pathways by dint of a focused nation building activity linked with industry and commerce, ICC finds Skills Development & Entrepreneurship are two important imperatives for achieving India’s ambitious growth targets aiming towards the creation of sustainable and scalable skills propositions.
Therefore, ICC has proved by actions so far in implementing the committed points by working with the stakeholders, especially the industry, government and academia , which will benefit the youth of the country from all sections of society , east and north east corridor in particular.
